Basic map of the United Arab Emirates

This map of Oman and the United Arab Emirates is of rather poor quality. The frontiers as well as the coastline are not exact at all, but well it's better than nothing! The map is included in a .exe file which includes the map automatically into Mapsource, from where you can easily send it to your Gamrin GPS device

Nice routable map of Moscow

This roadmap of Moscow is not only cery detailed but it's also routable. The site is only in russian, but thanx to google translate that shouldn't be much of a problem. You can download the maps in a .rar file in which all necessary files are included to add the maps to Mapsource, otherwise you can also send the .img files directly to your Garmin GPS device. If you don't know how to integrate the map into mapsource manually or how to uploap maps directly you can find more information at mapsntrails.com.

Road- and topo-map of Russia

Those maps of Russia are quite good and include many roads and even contour lines. Some of the maps for some towns are in a extremely good quality. The other problem is that the maps are only in the .rus format available but together with GPSMapEdit it shoudln't be a problem to convert them to Garmin .img format. More info on GPSMapEdit and other free maps can be found at mapsntrails.com.

Marine Map of the Baltic Sea

This map is not comparable with the Garmin Bluechart maps, but it still is a nice overview of the polish coast. The mapset can be downloaded as .exe file or as .zip file. The .exe file integrates the map directly into Mapsource from where you can send it comfortably to your Garmin device. The .zip file includes all necessary files to add the maps to Mapsource manually, otherwise you can also send the .img files directly to your Garmin GPS device. If you don't know how to integrate the map into mapsource manually or how to uploap maps directly

The site is only in russian, but thanx to google translate that shouldn't be much of a problem. You can download the maps in a .zip file in which all necessary files are included to add the maps to Mapsource, otherwise you can also send the .img files directly to your Garmin GPS device. If you don't know how to integrate the map into mapsource manually or how to uploap maps directly

Roadmap of parts of Slovakia

Here you find quite good roadmaps of some regions of Slovakia. The site in only in slovakian, but as you can easily identify the link, it's still possible to navigate through the site. The links of the single regions didn't work with me, but at the very bottom of the site you can download a .zip file which contains all the maps. In the .zip file all necessary files are included to add the maps to Mapsource, otherwise you can also send the .img files directly to your Garmin GPS device. If you don't know how to integrate the map into mapsource manually or how to uploap maps directly
